Legalisation of your documents in Manchester

In some cases your documents may have to be legalised before you can use them outside the country of origin. As a result of our extensive experience and our collaboration with legal advisors, we will be happy to advise you about the type of legalisation your translation may require. Our in-house legalisation services will save you time and effort, as you can be sure that the legalisation process of your documents will be dealt with for you, right here in Manchester!

Apostille Authentication

An Apostille provides the highest level of document legalisation as it certifies the document's country of origin, the name of the authority which has put a seal or stamp on it (translator's and notary's signatures), as well as the conditions of its verification. In order to obtain an Apostille, a document has to be sent to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where it is affixed with the UK Apostille stamp.

An Apostille may be required for legal documents and official personal documents (like passports) that are to be used abroad, for business or personal reasons (in countries signed up to the Hague Convention 1961).

Speak to us about your specific needs and we will make sure for you that your documents are competently translated, fully certified and legalised.

Types of document legalisation

  • Translation certification - our translators proofread and sign the translated document, and our stamps accredit the translation
  • Translation notarisation - our notary signs the translation to authenticate the translator's signature
  • True copy of the original certification - whenever you need additional copies of a document, we can certify them for you

We offer an extensive range of translating, interpreting and document legalisation services, so speak to us about your needs today and we will happily assist you. Call us today on 07 999 744 743 or send us an e-mail to order@docsbase.com
